My AD&D Campagin
Welcome to my Advanced Dungeons & Dragons page. I am currently GMing a 8-player campagin in the local area where I live. The campagin consists of 20 adventures, and the party has completed only 3 so far, after 2 months of play. Although, they have taken this long, they have only had minimal mishaps and encounters. Below, you see how the party did in there past and current adventures. Plus, you'll find some helpful AD&D files and links.
My World
My world is combination of "Dragonlance" (before the 5th age) and "Forgotten Realms". The world is based heavily around an corporate "ADVENTURE'S GUILD" which has a guildhouse in most cities. The party get the first few adventures from them. More details as I complete the design of the world.
Haggash's Secret
In the first adventure the party had a choice of solving it with brains or with muscle. The choose muscle. The first job was to deliver supplies to store in the area. Then they picked up the rumors of strange monks in town. The monks turned out to be Kenku, trying to steal an ancient artifact. The artifact was buried in a abbey. The kenku only worked at night. So the party had a choice to investigate the abbey by day or night, and they knew that it empty during the day. Instead, they went after it at night. They won their fight against the kenku, but 3/4 of the party was out cold. For all the hard work they put in, the treasure vanished when they touched it.
Search for the Crimson Pisces
In this adventure the party was sent in investigate merchant waylayings by orc, goblins, and bugbears along a route between 3 cities. Along with find a stole good luck charm of the main city, a ruby pisces. They had a little trouble tracking them, but later they posed as a merchant band, they then followed the road. After not being attacked like they hoped for, they ended up finding a side trail and tracking it through to a goblin camp. After a long fight with the goblins. They moved on and found the cave hideout for the goblin bandits. They then raided the hideout. The big problem was they decided to raid it during the day. The cave was full, and they had to fight for hours for their survival. Amazingly they had a really lucky mage with them who was able to take out half the goblin force. In the end they found a few magical items and recovered the luck charm, which when they finally got the puchline realized, it was all just a "red herring".
Final Exam
This was a short adventure. After they complete this adventure. The party was tested by the local guild mage, to prove themselves worthy for greater adventure. The test was 3 room test in where three things were tested greed, intelligence, and strength. Only one person, a really curious and greedy character, really learn a lesson. In the end though he had nothing to worry about. It ended up being a VERY powerful illusion.
This was a pretty interesting adventure. The group ended up trying to stop another goblin infestation, but things went bad for them in the begining. The party had started to track the goblins when they where all of a sudden ambushed in a clearing. Most of the party was put to sleep and the other where well overrun to do anything else but surrender. This put the party into a situation of becoming captive in a goblin chain gang, with nothing but there wits to help them out. After about 2 hours of traveling in chains, the group of goblins that captured the party was ambushed by an enemy clan of goblins. This gave the party a chance to escape, but instead they waited for a goblin to die near them and drop a sword so they could cut the bonds on there hands and on the magic-users mouths. The magic-users then shrunk themselves to get out of the chains. Then the party ran for their life, it took almost a day and 1/2 for them to get away. They did finally suffering a good bit of damage. They then track the goblins that stole there equipment and got it back, then found the mine that they were being taken to in the first place. Then just after the attack on the mine started there was a giant earthquake and the loud ring of a bell. They then proceeded to desimate the goblins and free anymore slave.
